AA Executive: Incumbent County Executive Steuart Pittman (D) made his campaign for re-election official this week.

Around the State

Delegate-10: Attorney and consultant N. Scott Phillips is running for the House of Delegates from District 10 in Baltimore County as a Democrat.

Delegate-22: Ashanti Martinez is running for the House of Delegates from District 22 in Prince George’s County as a Democrat. Martinez, who is a Research and Policy Analyst for CASA and formerly worked in the office of county councilmember Tom Dernoga, would be the first openly gay Afro-Latino delegate from Prince George’s County and only the second from the state of Maryland (Del. Gabriel Acevero, D-39, is the first).

Martinez previously ran in 2018 and placed fifth with 10.1% of the vote.

Delegate-24: Teacher Sennieal Crutchfield is running for the House of Delegates from District 24 in Prince George’s County as a Democrat.

Delegate-46: Augusta Christensen of Federal Hill is running for the House of Delegates from District 46 in Baltimore City as a Democrat.

Delegate-47B: Small business owner Jorge Sactic is running for the House of Delegates from District 47B in Prince George’s County as a Democrat. This seat is open as incumbent Del. Wanika Fisher (D) is running for county council.

MoCo Council-2: Bethesda Magazine reports that perennial candidate Tony Puca is making one final run for this county council seat based in Germantown.
